To all of our readers and listeners around the world, we say hello and welcome back to our most controversial site.

I must say that the past month has been one of amazing learning for our staff and teams at Western Capital as we have witnessed events that would make even the most hardened person wonder what in the heck has gone wrong with our society.

Like most organizations, we want to present ourselves in the most friendly and positive way possible to the worldwide public.  We spend thousands of dollars to get your attention to actually bring you to this site.  That is done by creating relationships with our partner companies, affiliates and subsidiaries.

We spend a lot of money on SEO, which is the acronym for SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION, so that when you run a search on a search engine, we will come up, and you will be directed to our site, if the search term is relevant.

As a process of hiring people to do the SEO work for our company, we realized that we were doing very well with HOW we were doing it and recognized immediate results, especially on Google.

So, as another form of business at Western Capital, outside of our publishing, consumer advocacy, seminar, debt collection consulting and business turnaround management units, we decided to offer our services to other businesses who were being "shaken down" for money by companies that are mainly forums for people to post to whom are mad about a business or product.

So we created a site called www.ReputationMD.com  , which was essentially a portal to our tech guys that would be able to help businesses and individuals who were being slammed on the internet, thus causing their business to loose hundreds of thousands of dollars of business.

Wow... did we learn a hard lesson fast.

As part of the ramping up process for the SEO Unit, we began to talk to some of the worlds foremost experts on Search Engine Optimization, such as William Stanley of the Action Defamation Group and Rob Russo, a gentleman in California who is a self proclaimed expert with a company called QED.

Our conversations with Mr. Stanley (who lives part time in Austria)  were wonderfully successful. We even began to advertise his banner ad on the front page of our worldwide sites.

Then we received a call from Mr. Robert "Rob" Russo.

We have a copy of this call, but for pending legal reasons, can not yet post it, however we were told that should we even attempt to consider doing SEO work for a certain company that we BOTH have a relationship with, that "He would kill our business, and make sure that every single page of Google was negative toward me as the CEO and Western Capital and our affiliate organizations.  There was no question in the world that he would DESTROY our reputation on the internet, should we dare cross his path.  He also made sure that we knew that he was heading off to a foreign country to purchase a 200K Square foot building, because he was so good at what he did.

"Just Give me 10 days Robert, and you will be out of business"

Well, as most all of our readers and listeners and clients know, we as an organization have gone up against some of the worlds largest companies for our clients (see the news section) and we have WON!  We have never backed down, and this issue was no different, except for one thing.... Rob Russo of QED said that he would do "whatever it took to defame ME as an individual to kill our company.

Now, things were getting personal. We will provide you with the audio and the full transcripts as soon as they are back in our custody.

So in the past 10 days, we have began to see a swell of negative websites appear on the internet aimed at telling you one thing.... that 8 years ago, I had the opportunity to spend some time in Club Fed!

Why is this such a big deal? Because he THREATENED TO POST ADDITIONAL INFLAMMATORY MATERIAL ON THE WEB if we did not quit helping our clients who had had their reputation tarnished on the internet, because this was his turf.

He referenced that William Stanley had called him and told him about our new site www.ReputationMD.com (Great Name I thought!) and that Bill denied any knowledge of the site.  We agreed during the call that we would forward Rob Russo emails of the communications by and between myself and Bill Stanley. We even sent them  a snippet of chat text between our two companies.

He received this information, and then immediately called back and said that the information that we provided was not good enough and that unless he heard from William Stanley in 24 hours, we would be raped on the net and our reputation was history.

I do not know about you, but this type of threat coming from California was a very serious threat to our organization. So we got together as a team and decided to fight this abuse.

One thing that we knew is that we had been very direct and forward with the American Public about my past.  We have been very clear in all of our seminars and with all of our clients that about 8 years ago, we ran into some legal problems.  No big deal, right?  Well here is the story!

Well,  in 1998, yep 8 years ago!,  I fully and acknowledged that as a CEO of another Large Company at the age of 25, that I was absolutely responsible and accountable for my company, all of our employees and subsequently also all of the data that was travelling through our corporate networks. (as limited as they were at the time)

Do you remember how the internet was in 1998? Do you remember the IBM 286 Machines? 

Well, we had a service in our office called PRODIGY (we had to connect with a 14.4 Modem!) , who at the time, was a competitor to CompuServe, this was before Steve started AOL!  Well, as we grew, we attracted attention.  We were in the media as a company that was buying hotels and became known as the Billionaire Boys Club.  (They even made a Movie called "The Billionaire Boys Club" ) We all got caught us in our success, the homes, the girls and all the Lortabs one could ever imagine, that we became a victim of our own success. 

Now remember, living in Provo Utah in a 6,000 square foot home at 25 caused people to wonder!  So we were on the radar, and at that time we had a lot of high profile clients, and believe it or not, some of them were not really liked. But if you read the page on this site that describes how we STILL FIX A BROKEN BUSINESS, you will become very clear.

Besides, who else is better at fixing a company than someone that has been through the school of life. 

Long story short, we were COMMANDED to tell EVERYTHING THAT WE KNEW ABOUT OUR PRIVATE CLIENTS, and we simply REFUSED!  So, we were told that if we would not talk voluntarily , then they would FIND a way to MAKE US TALK. Well we said nothing EVER, and ALSO PAID THE PRICE. 

They did an "inspection" of our company and found over 50,000 photos on one of the computers.  Back in those days, all that they had were News Groups, so there were photos from around the world, including Landscapes, Homes, Buildings, People and anything you can imagine. Well guess what, they found "3 photos" (that was the law back then)  from a news group (out of 50,000) that were based on the culture of Nudism.  Now you know the rest of the story... "You can either talk or take your chances with a jury"

18 Months in Club Fed with Michael Milken and the boys was not a bad deal. It was not like it is now, with Enron, Tyco, and the rest of Wall Street in Fed. We had a pool and it really was like a country club at the time, Steaks on Sunday, No Fences, You name it!.... until Barbara Walters came in and saw how we lived... That is when it all changed.

So in order to move forward in life and to do the correct and moral thing, I accepted responsibility for my actions and made a clear decision to move forward, because all that I saw was the hopelessness and despair of offenders who had no clue how they would ever end up back on their feet.  Very few offenders ever recover from being placed in Club Fed, and guys like Kevin Mitnick (the worlds most notorious computer hacker) were people that I met.  I met a lot of CEO's who were there for tax issues and fraud.

I decided that there was no room for excuses then and I will not provide you with excuses now.  What was is what was. Our computers had "at least three illegal photos on the network!"  Hey, we were guilty. We never knew that Congress would pass laws in the future making this an ex post facto law, that required someone who possessed 3 photos out of 50,000 random photos to be branded a Sex Offender!  How in the hell was this possible? Sex Offenders are people who rape and molest kids. They are Paedophiles who can not control their sexual urges. They are people who violate the trust of children.  But, to have photos from a nudism group that were NOT EVEN OF A SEXUAL NATURE?

I do not know about you, but when I think of Child Pornography, I think about pictures of Children being abused, raped and even tortured by the victimizer. This sure as hell was not what we were being charged with. The Charge was Simple Possession of Child Pornography.  NOT MAKING THE STUFF- NOT SELLING THE STUFF, but simply having "Three or more images on a computer" That is all!

Being in the Federal System, I began to see how so many offenders in America felt that there was NO HOPE for their future.  They truly believed that if they ever were ever convicted of a crime, regardless of the nature, that they would forever be banned by society and have to work at Jiffy Lube the rest of their lives! 

Once I saw this attitude, I began to understand the dynamics of offender recidivism.  I saw that the programs that were out there were not sufficient to assist offenders in getting back on their feet.  I noticed that the Probation Officers were overloaded with cases, and that the courts were packed with drug cases. 

So, I made the commitment that as soon as it was possible, that I would Start a Foundation to assist former and current offenders overcome the fixed beliefs that they carried as baggage that all  they can do upon re-entry to society was to  enter in and out of the rotating door of prisons and rehabs (this is called recidivism) .

Can you imagine being released after years of incarceration and be given 5.00 and told "Don't come back"?  I knew people who did not want to leave!  They liked the pattern of incarceration, the free food, the small jobs of sweeping the grounds and waiting for the once a week that they could go to the commissary. What a life....

So that is our story, and because of this unfortunate situation from 8 years ago, This is how I now choose to spend my time.... by giving back to society, and honestly, I do a damn good job of it. 

So, instead of creating havoc, I volunteer to help the less fortunate, and I finally learned this was possible as I graduated from The Impact Trainings Program.  I believe that if the Impact Trainings were implemented in the US Prison Systems that the recidivism rate would be reduced in half. 

That is how we now spend our time...  We simply choose to give back.

Now, as a result of the actions of guys like Rob Russo and his company QED, people who want to really create change in the world are told that they will be held hostage and that they will forever be banished to Jiffy Lube.

Well, frankly that is complete bullshit.

So, now what are we going to do?  Well this question was discusses with many people, from probation officers to former offenders. And it was determined that we will create a forum where all of those people in the world who like me can complain and those that support the mission that we are on with our foundation and www.PrisonPartners.com can have an uncensored battle over right and wrong.  We even agreed to put up the money to create the site!
